Samuel Caddall
Samuel Caddall (1759-1832) lived in the Neck Creek Community of Pulaski County, Virginia. When he was twenty-one, he volunteered in the Army in Rockbridge County, Virginia in Captain Paxton's Company of the 2nd Virginia Regiment of the Line. He participated in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, the Second Battle of Camden, Eutaw Springs, and the Siege of 96. Colonel Campbell was killed at the Battle of Eutaw Springs, and Colonel William Washington was present. Caddall received his discharge in 1782 at Salisbury, North Carolina.
